The Space
3 Marine Mews is an attractive stone fronted building, just up the road from the Harbour Hotel and the Salcombe Yacht Club. Based on the one-way Fore Street through the town, you are mere minutes’ walk away from everything you need in Salcombe, but out of town enough for a little less hustle and bustle. There are ten steps leading up to the entrance, from where you can sit at your outside dining table and soak in the views of the enchanting sandy bays an easy ferry ride away whilst also enjoying the daily comings and goings of this superb seaside town.
The open plan space makes it simple and comfortable with comfortable leather sofas to relax in, Freeview TV and a DVD player if you just want to chill out in front of a movie of an evening, with French doors leading out to the terrace from where it makes perfect sense to enjoy a chilled glass of something refreshing before heading out onto the town. Salcombe has a wealth of dineries – from classic pub food to excellent seafood options, with everything in between from burgers to pizzas to vegan and vegetarian.
For an easy breakfast or simple snack the kitchen is equipped with all the usual suspects – fridge, electric hob, combi microwave, plus oven and grill, dishwasher, with a washing machine and tumble drier in the adjacent utility area. There’s room for four in the dining area.
There are two bedrooms – one king size bed in the comfortably spacious master bedroom, with two single beds in the second bedroom. There’s a roomy bathroom with cubicle shower, toilet and basin.
The property has gas central heating, although hopefully you won’t be worrying about that in the summer season. There is a public car park nearby with a season ticket provided (unreserved spaces). 3 Marine Mews is a no smoking site.

Salcombe is a charming little town on the bank of what is often described as the prettiest harbour in England.
Picture-perfect pastel-coloured houses make up a Positano-like scene overlooking water, sandy beaches and rolling green hills of the surrounding countryside.
Salcombe has a uniquely wonderful array of shops ranging from an acclaimed butcher and baker to art galleries selling serious contemporary works and chic boutiques.
