About No 3 Devon Court
A bright, breezy, and spacious property with splendid views across the Salcombe estuary. Perfect for watching the comings and goings of all those afloat in the harbour.
The Space
This house has been in the owner’s family for three generations and was built by the first. Its aspect is such that you get views from the living room, both bedrooms, and from the balcony overlooking the nearby park and with an outlook over the green trees to the distant fields and estuary, with Salcombe town a short saunter away. You’re moments from the heart of the action, but far enough out of the centre to be able to relax.
A solid stone flight of steps leads up from the convenient parking space below straight to your front door.
Entry into a small foyer is through a half glass door, with hanging space for coats. There is a lovely bathroom with a dual shower over bath plus sink and an adjacent separate cloakroom with loo, both decorated with crisp white tiles.
The light and airy sitting room has a fourth wall that is essentially all glass with its floor to ceiling window and door out to the balcony. A beautiful sea grass carpet with a herringbone pattern throughout the hallways and bedrooms gives a lovely warm ambience to the whole aesthetic of the property. With samphire style curtains and blue and natural colour scheme, it allows the property room to breathe, and there’s so much light and air you feel like you’re almost on top of the world.
The master bedroom has loads of hanging space, a lovely big bed and super Salcombe views out of the huge windows. The décor is fresh and bright and inspires with its holiday vibes.
A twin bedroom next door is welcoming, smart and functional.
Separate to the kitchen is a large dining area with a table seating for and a cupboard brimming with board games to keep a family entertained after a long sunny day on the beach.
A real star of the show is the lovely newly appointed kitchen. With pale blue Shaker style décor, quartz worktop, double oven, and all the expected high-end appliances (kettle, toaster, hob, oven, microwave, washing machine), you will need on holiday. This really is a foodies dream kitchen.
Easy lounging chairs and a large comfortable sofa welcome you in the spacious and light sitting room.
The balcony houses bistro furniture where you can sit outside in the sunshine and watch the world go by, whilst enjoying your morning cup of coffee and planning your day, overlooking the park and beyond to the sea.
Guest Access
The parking for the property is a designated private parking space for a single car on the forecourt in front of garage 3 below the apartment.
The property is located up a set of steps from the parking spot, so it is not suitable for people of limited mobility.
Other Things to Note
We do allow young children, but note that use of the apartment and balcony is at your own risk.
